PinkDrive Camino Challenge

Raising funds for breast cancer awareness

Nowadays, The Camino attracts more people than ever, as it has become a world-renown challenge inviting people to surpass themselves and live a once in a lifetime experience,  regardless of age and background.  Every year more and more people reach the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.  Each with their own story and, of course their own reason.

We plan your special journey

Good preparation is essential, which is why Camino With Me will help you plan your Camino.  We will carefully map out your Camino route, suggest unforgettable highlights along the way and take care of all accommodation requirements.

Whether you decide to cover a fairly short stretch of the trail, walk or cycle a longer distance, or split up your Camino to make it a multi-annual plan.  That is entirely up to you.
Anything is possible!

By yourself or in a Team

Do you feel like this is a challenge you would take on by yourself, or rather with friends, colleagues or family?  The choice to make your Camino a personal challenge to raise funds is voluntary, making your endeavour even more meaningful.

PinkDrive South Africa

PinkDrive NPC, a health sector NGO, was founded in 2009 by Ms. Noelene Kotschan, on the premise that “Early cancer detection will help prolong a life.” PinkDrive’s cardinal purpose is to contribute meaningfully towards preventing as many people as it can, from succumbing to breast, cervical, prostate and testicular cancer. It’s primary focus is for citizens without access to reasonable care for these conditions, and who reside in areas where health services do not reach.

It recognises that treatable cancers receiving even the basic levels of care, could translate into varying lengths of extended life for the afflicted, when detected and treated early. It’s posture is ostensibly a promoter of health awareness in general, and specifically health education and heightening awareness of gender-related cancers in South Africa.

Take up an old-age challenge in favour of the fight against breast cance

Pilgrimage has gained a meaning beyond religion.  The journey offers hikers, cyclist, and mountain bikers a way of challenging  themselves physically, while offering the time to reflect on major life events or to figuratively close a chapter in their lives.  Other challengers want to give meaning to their sportive endeavours.  The PINKDRIVE SA Camino project offers you both,  while raising funds for breast cancer foundation .

Are you passionate about hiking, cycling or mountain biking?  Have you ever dreamt about taking up one of the world’s most historic challenges, and are you willing to take action for the fight against breast cancer.  Then register for the PinkDrive SA Camino Challenge.

By taking on your PinkDrive SA Camino Challenge  together with Camino With Me, you commit to raising funds for the fight against breast cancer and for woman’s health.
